Before you begin
You need administrator access to a WordPress website and permission to install plugins.
KineticHub works inside the WordPress block editor. No separate animation builder or external animation library is required.
Install KineticHub from WordPress
1. Open the plugin installer
Sign in to your WordPress dashboard and go to:
Plugins → Add New Plugin
This opens the WordPress plugin directory inside your dashboard.
2. Search for KineticHub
Enter KineticHub in the plugin search field.
Locate the official KineticHub plugin in the search results.
Before installing, confirm that:
- The plugin name includes KineticHub
- The plugin description refers to animated Gutenberg blocks
- You are installing the official KineticHub plugin
3. Install the plugin
Select Install Now.
WordPress will download and install the plugin automatically. The button will change when the installation is complete.
4. Activate KineticHub
Select Activate.
After activation, KineticHub becomes available in the WordPress block editor.
Verify the installation
Open an existing page or create a new page.
Select the block inserter and search for:
KineticHub
You can also search for a specific block, such as:
- Kinetic Box
- Kinetic Magnetic Button
- Kinetic Typography
- Kinetic Hero Mesh
- Kinetic Video Modal
Insert one of the blocks and review its settings in the right editor sidebar.
If the KineticHub blocks appear in the inserter, the installation was successful.
Install KineticHub using a ZIP file
You can also install KineticHub manually using a plugin ZIP file.
Go to:
Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin
Then:
- Select Choose File
- Choose the KineticHub ZIP file
- Select Install Now
- Select Activate Plugin
Do not extract the ZIP file before uploading it through WordPress.
Use this method when you already downloaded the plugin ZIP or when the plugin directory search is unavailable.
Troubleshooting
KineticHub does not appear in the plugin search
Check that the search term is spelled correctly:
KineticHub
You can also download the Free plugin ZIP from WordPress.org and use the manual installation method.
The Install Now button is unavailable
Your WordPress account may not have permission to install plugins.
Contact the website administrator or hosting provider if you do not have administrator access.
Plugin installation may also be restricted on some managed or multisite WordPress installations.
The blocks do not appear in the editor
First, confirm that KineticHub is active:
Plugins → Installed Plugins
Then reload the block editor and search again.
If your website uses a caching or optimization plugin, clear all site caches after activation.
Also confirm that you are editing content with the WordPress block editor rather than the Classic Editor.
The plugin is active, but the frontend looks unchanged
KineticHub does not automatically modify existing pages.
You must open a page in the block editor, insert a KineticHub block, configure it, and save or publish the page.
